great mesh of models and photography. very cool
I just left a comment on YouTube about Future London. Your work is great! Can I assume the area of the city model is roughly 4 x 8 feet?
haha ! a bit bigger than that mate. about 5 metres long, by 2.5m wide and 2m high from pit to top of the tower, pleased you like it ;)
Wow, for some reason it looks smaller to me. No matter. it's a great item. :-)
Wow, furnituresig, that's amazing work! I really love the attention that you give to detail in your scale models. It's stunning. The textures are spot on, everything is great! I don't know if you're interested or not, but I am actually working on an independent film titled "Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie," as the right hand assistant of the Visual Effects Suprevisor, and the director, writer, and star, James Rolfe, is looking for model makers for an epic final battle in the film, which will utilize awesome, epic, old-school practical effects, including scale models and such. PM me if you're interested. I'd love to see your amazing work in the final film. This should be fun for you, and challenging, but you can never get too much experience!

Also, I'd like to note that Rolfe has always been a big fan of practical effects. It's "practically" what he prefer over CGI, and so do I. And the reason he has asked fans to help him in this manner, is because he cares a lot about them, and therefore, he is open to give them a chance of helping making this labor of love a reality.

You can find a post I did about it here, [link]

Stay creative,
- Lukas
hi lukas, thanks for the interest ;). I read the link and it says I´d need to be near philadelphia. As I live and work in Spain, that could be a bit tricky, although in principle I would love to go over there for work as long as the bills etc are paid. I get the impression however that this is a labour of love in which case there is no budget for flights etc.

I´d be pleased if you could give me a few more details please.

thanks sig

by the way heres one of the videos I did with the sci´fi city as a base, I thought it might be of some interest

cheers

Hm, I know. That's why I said that I just saw you live in Spain. I don't get why deviantART don't notify about replies like that :)
